# DNP Social Classification (Sisbén IV and RUI)

Look up a person's socioeconomic classification in Colombia by document, live from the DNP: the Sisbén IV group (`A1` to `D21`, with its category and label) and the RUI income classification with the registered name, sex, age and municipality. `document_type` defaults to `CC`. Returns `found: false` when the person has neither.

  - `document_type` 'CC' | 'TI' | 'CE' | 'RC' | 'PA' | 'PEP' | 'PPT': Colombian document type. Defaults to `CC`.
  - `document_number` string, required: Document number (alphanumeric with hyphens allowed).

    - `found` boolean, required: true when the person has a Sisbén IV group, a RUI classification, or both.
    - `document_type` 'CC' | 'TI' | 'CE' | 'RC' | 'PA' | 'PEP' | 'PPT', required: The queried document type, echoed back.
    - `document_number` string, required: The queried document number, echoed back.
    - `sisben` object, nullable, required: The Sisbén IV classification; null when the person has none.
      - `group` string, required: The Sisbén IV group: a letter and a level, from `A1` to `D21`, e.g. `C3`.
      - `category` 'A' | 'B' | 'C' | 'D', nullable, required: The group's letter: `A` extreme poverty, `B` moderate poverty, `C` vulnerable, `D` neither poor nor vulnerable. null for a group Croma does not recognize.
      - `label` string, nullable, required: The group's label as the register prints it, e.g. `Vulnerable`.
      - `municipality` string, nullable, required: The municipality where the person was surveyed.
      - `department` string, nullable, required: That municipality's department.
    - `rui` object, nullable, required: The RUI classification; null when the person has none.
      - `classification` string, nullable, required: The RUI classification as the register prints it.
      - `category` 'A' | 'B' | 'C' | 'D', nullable, required: The classification's letter, on the same `A` to `D` scale as Sisbén IV.
      - `income_group` string, nullable, required: The income group the register assigns.
      - `full_name` string, nullable, required: The registered name.
      - `sex` string, nullable, required
      - `age` integer, nullable, required: Age in years.
      - `municipality` string, nullable, required
      - `department` string, nullable, required
