# Banco de la República Series Search

`POST /co/banrep/series-search/v1`

Search the catalog of statistical series the Banco de la República, Colombia's central bank, publishes: about 850 series covering the TRM exchange rate, the monetary policy rate, IBR, DTF and deposit rates, lending rates by credit type, credit and monetary aggregates, consumer prices, unemployment, GDP, the balance of payments, remittances and regional activity. Free text matches the name, description, keywords and categories; filter by `frequency`. Each result carries the series code, unit, producer, first and latest observation, and the last and next update dates. Read a series' observations with `banrep_series`. Served by Croma (`as_of` says how current the data is).

**Dataset endpoint**: answers from the whole source in milliseconds and carries `as_of`.

  - `frequency` '' | 'daily' | 'weekly' | 'monthly' | 'quarterly' | 'semiannual' | 'annual': Optional native frequency of the series: `daily`, `weekly`, `monthly`, `quarterly`, `semiannual` or `annual`.
  - `page` integer: 1-based page number for paginated results.
  - `per_page` integer: Results per page (1-100).

      - `prices` string, nullable, required: Current or constant prices, where the series says, e.g. `Precios constantes`.
      - `decimals` number, nullable, required: How many decimals the Banco de la República publishes the values with.
      - `definition` string, nullable, required: The definition and notes the Banco de la República publishes with the series, as plain text.
      - `methodology_url` string, nullable, required: The methodology sheet the Banco de la República links for the series, where there is one.
      - `first_date` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` of the first observation.
      - `last_date` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` of the latest observation. Daily series can run a few days ahead, when a value is set in advance (the TRM over a weekend).
      - `last_load_date` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` the Banco de la República last updated the series.
      - `next_load_date` string, nullable, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` the Banco de la República plans to update the series next. Null when no update is scheduled, as for a discontinued series.
