# TST Labour-Debt Certificate (CNDT)

Issue Brazil's labour-debt certificate (Certidão Negativa de Débitos Trabalhistas) for a company by CNPJ, live from the Tribunal Superior do Trabalho: `clear`, `debts`, or `debts_secured` (every debt secured or suspended, with the legal effect of a clearance), the certificate number, issue time and validity, and each labour case with its court and whether the debt is secured. Optionally the official PDF. Async job; most calls finish inline.

Supports async delivery: set `Prefer: wait=N` for an inline result, pass `callback_url` to receive a POST when ready, or poll `GET /jobs/{id}`.

  - `document_number` string, required: CNPJ de la empresa, con o sin puntuación, p. ej. `33.000.167/0001-01`. Solo empresas: un CPF no se acepta.
  - `include_pdf` boolean: Si es `true`, la respuesta incluye `pdf_url`, el enlace a la certidão oficial en PDF (opcional).
  - `callback_url` string, uri: POST the job result here when it finishes.

    - `document_number` string, required: The CNPJ queried, 14 characters, echoed back.
    - `status` 'clear' | 'debts' | 'debts_secured', required: `clear` (no labour debt), `debts` (unpaid labour debts), or `debts_secured` (labour debts, every one secured or suspended).
    - `has_clearance_effect` boolean, required: true for `clear` and `debts_secured`: the certificate has the legal effect of a clearance, as public tenders require.
    - `status_label` string, required: The certificate's title, as the court prints it.
    - `certificate_number` string, required: The certificate's number and year, e.g. `75794208/2026`.
    - `issued_at` string, required: When the certificate was issued, ISO 8601 in Brasília time.
    - `valid_until` string, required: `yyyy-mm-dd` the certificate stops being valid: 180 days after it was issued.
    - `company_name` string, nullable, required: The company's name as the certificate prints it; null when the certificate is issued without one.
    - `total_cases` integer, required: Labour cases the certificate lists; 0 when clear.
    - `cases` object[], required: The cases behind the debts, as the certificate lists them.
      - `case_number` string, required: The case's CNJ number, `NNNNNNN-DD.AAAA.5.RR.OOOO`.
      - `court` string, required: The regional labour court, e.g. `TRT 01ª Região`.
      - `region` integer, required: The region's number, 1 to 24.
      - `office` string, nullable, required: The labour court (vara) the case sits in, when the certificate names it.
      - `debt_condition` 'unsecured' | 'secured' | 'suspended', required: `unsecured`; `secured` by a deposit, a freeze or an attachment of enough assets; or `suspended` (its enforceability is suspended).
    - `pdf_url` string, nullable, required: A link to the official certificate PDF, when `include_pdf` was true.
    - `checked_at` string, required: When this certificate was issued for this request, as an ISO timestamp.

## Other responses

- `202`: Accepted — the result is being computed asynchronously. Poll `job.status_url` (GET /jobs/{id}) or supply `callback_url` to have the result POSTed to you. Returned when `Prefer: wait` elapses before completion, or immediately when `callback_url` is set.
- `400`: Invalid request body
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal error
- `502`: Upstream source returned an error
