# Publish an embedded form

`POST /api/v1/lead-capture/embedded-forms/{formId}/publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.useboom.ai`
- URL: `https://www.useboom.ai/api/v1/lead-capture/embedded-forms/{formId}/publish`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Freeze the draft as the next version visitors get (within about five minutes on live pages). Refused with the reasons when the draft is not ready or changes something published (a key, a type, an answer value). Returns the journeys and segments still reading anything this version stops producing.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed or the request cannot proceed.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, or revoked API key.

- `422`: The request is well-formed but semantically invalid.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — retry after `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error.
- `503`: Transient error — retry with a narrower request.
