# Accept an invite

`POST /api/v1/me/invites/{inviteID}/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uptimemonitoring.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Session-only. `404 invite_not_found` for an unknown, revoked,
expired, or not-addressed-to-this-user invite; `409 member_exists`
if the caller is already a member (the invite is consumed either
way); `403` `"account suspended; contact support"` if the account is
currently suspended — the invite survives, nothing is added.

Joined.

## Other responses

- `403`: Caller did not authenticate via a dashboard session, or the account is suspended.
- `404`: Invite not found.
- `409`: Caller is already a member.
