# Start linking a GitHub identity onto the signed-in user

`POST /api/v1/me/identities/github`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uptimemonitoring.com`
- URL: `https://api.uptimemonitoring.com/api/v1/me/identities/github`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Session-only (`403 {"error":"session_required"}` for an API key or
an OAuth JWT). Mirrors `POST /api/v1/me/identities/google` exactly,
substituting `POST /oauth/github/link`. Always mounted — GitHub
sign-in is never feature-flagged the way Google is.

## Response `201`

Ticket minted.
