# Cancel a Message

`DELETE /v2/messages/{messageId}`

Cancel a pending message

## Path parameters

- `messageId` string, required

## Response `202`

Message canceled successfully

- object
  - `cancelled` integer: Number of messages cancelled. Always `1`.

- `404`: Message not found
