# Get Backup Analysis

`GET /redis/backup-analysis/{id}/{backupid}`

This endpoint returns the state of a backup's analysis and, once completed, the report. Daily backups of databases on a Pro plan or with the Production Pack are analyzed automatically when they complete, except on regional and HIPAA databases and for backups over 200 GiB.

## Response `200`

Analysis state retrieved successfully

- BackupAnalysis
  - `analysis_state` string: Empty when never analyzed, otherwise pending, completed or failed
  - `report` object: The analysis report, present when completed. Contains totals, per-type size and element-count distributions, the biggest keys overall and per type, and a TTL profile.
