# Delete Rule

`DELETE /notifications/rules/{rule_key}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-docs.upsmith.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Soft-delete every version of the chain, freeing its key for reuse.

Logged with its author, because deleting writes no version and leaves nothing on the chain to
say who did it.
