# Search workspace files

`GET /v1/workspaces/{workspace}/files/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uploads.sh`
- URL: `https://api.uploads.sh/v1/workspaces/{workspace}/files/search`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requires at least one `meta.<key>` equality filter or a `name` substring. Metadata filter names are dynamic query parameters.

- `prefix` string
- `limit` integer
- `cursor` string

## Response `200`

A bounded page. `truncated` is true and `cursor` is non-null when more matches remain; pass `cursor` back to continue.

    - `key` string, required
    - `url` string, uri, nullable, required
    - `embedUrl` string, uri, nullable, required
    - `metadata` Metadata, required
    - `updatedAt` string, date-time
  - `truncated` boolean, required
  - `cursor` string, nullable, required: Opaque continuation for the next page, or null on the last page.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credential.
- `403`: The credential lacks the required scope or role.
