# A file's review state

`GET /v1/workspaces/{workspace}/files/review`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uploads.sh`
- URL: `https://api.uploads.sh/v1/workspaces/{workspace}/files/review`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Whether a file is held, was approved (with who approved it and when), or was never held. For workspace members; the public file API does not return it.

## Query parameters

- `key` string, required

## Response `200`

The file's review state.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credential.
- `403`: The credential lacks the required scope or role.
- `404`: The resource was not found.
