# Hold an approved file for review again

`POST /v1/workspaces/{workspace}/files/hold`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uploads.sh`
- URL: `https://api.uploads.sh/v1/workspaces/{workspace}/files/hold`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

For a file approved by mistake: puts it back under review, so its link stops working until a member approves it again. Only a file that was held and approved can be held again; any other key answers 200 with `held: false`.

## Response `200`

Whether the file is held again.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credential.
- `403`: The credential lacks the required scope or role.
- `404`: The resource was not found.
- `429`: The workspace rate limit or upload budget was exceeded.
