# Itemized all-in cost of an offer before committing

`GET /api/v1/offers/{offerReference}/price`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer

The MCP `get_price_breakdown` tool: amount plus taxes/fees, total, and for a BID the operator's own bid-strength read.

- `amount` number: Amount to price (omit for INSTANT).
- `purchaseType` 'BID' | 'INSTANT' | 'POINTS'

## Response `200`

Breakdown (available=false when itemized pricing isn't offered for this booking).

## Other responses

- `400`: quoteId or amount missing/invalid.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, expired, or revoked bearer token. The WWW-Authenticate challenge points at the OAuth protected-resource metadata.
- `404`: Unknown quote/offer.
- `409`: Quote not ready.
- `422`: Reference not mappable to one option.
- `429`: Per-caller rate limit exceeded.
