# Create a new content source for collection

`POST /collections/{collection_id}/sources`

## Request

Add a new content source in a collection. Must specify

## Request body

- object
  - `rss_feed` string: The rss feed url. At least one of rss_feed, source_collection_id, or topic_id is required
  - `topic_id` string: The rss feed url. At least one of rss_feed, source_collection_id, or topic_id is required
  - `source_collection_id` string: The rss feed url. At least one of rss_feed, source_collection_id, or topic_id is required
  - `filters` Filters: Filter object
    - `type` 'all' | 'news' | 'blog': The article type
    - `sort` 'sharability' | 'recency' | 'influence' | 'added' | 'updated' | 'relevance'
    - `age` integer: Age in days
    - `limit` integer: Limit number of content items
    - `offset` integer: Offset for paging
    - `favorited` boolean: Only include favorited articles
    - `undated` boolean: Whether to include articles without dates including evergreen articles
    - `required` string[]: Fields to require to be filled in, currently only image is supported
    - `tags` string[]: Tags to include, grouped tags will be ored with each other than all tag groups and solo tags will be anded together
    - `excludes` string[]: Publishers to exclude
    - `sources` string[]: Publishers to include

## Response `201`

No error

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Not authenticated
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not found
