# Promote Outbound Example

Promote a sent draft's filed candidate example to active — resolves by
the capture filer's ``draft:<id>`` key; optional archetype override. 404
with an explanatory detail when no filed row exists (the send predates
example capture — pre-E1). Returns the example plus ``already_active``.

## Request body

- ExamplePromoteRequest: Promote a SENT draft's filed candidate example to active (optional archetype override). 404s when no filed row exists (pre-E1 sends).
  - `draft_id` string, required
  - `archetype` string, nullable
