# Set Interest

`POST /gtm-internal/contacts/{contact_id}/interest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api-v1.unusual.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Override a contact's interest. Recorded as a manual.interest signal (so it has
history and the judge applies it), and set on the contact now. Refused (409)
while the contact is do-not-contact: that takes Lift do-not-contact.
