# Submit Query

`POST /api/domains/{domain_id}/research-agent/query`

## Request

Submit a research agent query.

The agent will search through research conversations and provide
an answer using the metacognitive analysis tools.

If chat_id is provided, the query is added to an existing chat
for multi-turn conversation continuity.
