# Start GitHub source OAuth flow

`GET /sources/oauth/github/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.untools.co/api`
- URL: `https://api.untools.co/api/sources/oauth/github/start`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Generates a pending OAuth session and returns the GitHub authorization URL for the frontend to redirect to. The callback at /sources/oauth/github/callback will store the access token, then the frontend creates the permanent connection via POST /sources with { oauthPendingId }.

- `500`: OAuth not configured
