# Delete a campaign

`DELETE /email/campaigns/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.unitpost.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://www.unitpost.com/api/v1/email/campaigns/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Archive a campaign that's in `draft` or a terminal state (sent, canceled, failed): it leaves the list and is permanently deleted after 30 days. Restore it before then with `PATCH { "archived": false }`. A campaign that's mid-flight can't be archived — stop it first with [Cancel a campaign](#post-email-campaigns-id-cancel). Requires the `campaigns:write` capability.

## Response `204`

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Campaign not found.
- `409`: Campaign is not in a deletable state.
