# Rating colour scales

`GET /ratings/scales`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://unicum.gg/api`
- URL: `https://unicum.gg/api/ratings/scales`
- Auth: none required

Every colour scale the site paints a number with: the three rating metrics, random and Steel Hunter and Stronghold win rates, the Steel Hunter ratings, the two Stronghold ratings and the community star rating. Each is a list of half-open bands with the colour's name and its hex. Region-less, because a threshold is the same on every server, and static, because it only moves when the site's own scale does. Fetch it once and paint from it rather than re-implementing the ladder, which is what makes a client drift the day a threshold changes.

## Response `200`

Successful response

- RatingScalesResponse
  - `scales` RatingScaleInfo[], required
    - `scale` 'wn7' | 'wn8' | 'wnx' | 'winrate' | 'hr' | 'hrb' | 'steelHunterWinrate' | 'strongholdRating' | 'strongholdRatingBattles' | 'strongholdWinrate' | 'starRating', required: Which quantity this scale paints.
    - `unit` 'points' | 'percent' | 'stars', required: How its numbers are written: `ratio` runs 0 to 1, `points` and `stars` are the value as shown. A caller holding a win rate as a percentage has to divide before comparing it to a `ratio` scale.
    - `bands` RatingScaleBand[], required
      - `color` 'veryBad' | 'bad' | 'belowAvg' | 'average' | 'good' | 'veryGood' | 'super' | 'excellent' | 'top', required: The band's name on the site's nine-step scale.
      - `hex` string, required: The colour the site paints it with.
      - `from` number, nullable, required: Lower edge, included. Null on the first band, which really is unbounded.
      - `to` number, nullable, required: Upper edge, excluded. Null on the last band.
