# Create Cost Center

## Request body

- object
  - `costCenter` object, required: Cost center properties
    - `id` string, required: Generate a uuid
    - `name` string, required: The cost center name
    - `externalId` string: Optional Identifier for external applications
    - `parentCcId` string: For top level cost center, keep this "None". For sub cost centers - provide the parent cost center Id
  - `accountsPayload` object: Accounts to add to the cost center. A cost center can be created empty and accounts can be assigned later on.
    - `payerWithLinkedAccounts` object: Payer account Id to be included with some of its linked accounts
    - `fullyAssignedPayerAccountIDs` string[]: An array of payer account Ids to be included in their entirety in the cost center
