# Create Business Mapping

`POST /api/v1/usage/business-mapping/mappings`

This call is used to create a business mapping rule in the account.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: mapping name
  - `rank` integer, required: ranked order of this rule
  - `rules` string[], required: Filters which define the mapping (Array of filter fields- See structure above)
  - `split` boolean: Determine whether the cost should be split
  - `splitOptions` string: split type (One of "EQUAL", "RATIO")
  - `mappings` string[]: Mapping ids to be split (Array of mapping IDs)
