# Delete this account and erase its personal data

`DELETE /v1/me`

## Request

## Request body

- AdmitAccountDeletion
  - `confirm_email` string, email, required

## Response `202`

Erasure is admitted. Authorship of work this person created is detached rather than deleted, audit history survives under a pseudonym, and the sign-in identity is destroyed last.

## Other responses

- `400`: The confirmation email does not match this account.
- `401`: Authentication required.
- `409`: This account solely owns one or more workspaces; `details.blocking_tenants` names each one.
- `503`: The sole-owner detail could not be projected safely.
- `default`: An error occurred (RFC 9457 problem+json).
