# Open a paid trial, Pro, or credit-pack Checkout

`POST /v1/billing/checkout`

## Request

## Request body

- StartBillingCheckout
  - `kind` 'paid_trial' | 'pro' | 'pack', required
  - `return_to` string

## Response `200`

Stripe Checkout link for the reserved order.

- BillingCheckoutResult
  - `order_id` string, uuid, required
  - `url` string, uri, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required.
- `403`: Workspace owner permission is required.
- `409`: Purchase not available in the current state.
- `default`: An error occurred (RFC 9457 problem+json).
