# Send Feedback

`POST /feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.twitterapis.com`
- URL: `https://api.twitterapis.com/feedback`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Files a product feedback report against your account. It exists for AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, any MCP client) working against this API: when a call fails, a capability is missing, or the user asks for it, the agent drafts a report locally, the user reviews it, and the client sends it here. The report reaches the team as a stored row plus a Slack post, and the returned id lets the agent read its status later. Free, never metered, rate limited to 10 per minute per key. Cost: Free per call.

## Request body

- object
  - `type` string, required: One of bug, idea or missing_capability. Anything else is rejected with 400 naming type.
  - `title` string, required: One line, 1 to 120 characters after trimming. Say what broke or what is missing, not how the user feels about it.
  - `details` string, required: 1 to 8000 characters. Recommended shape, three labelled bullets: what happened (observed vs expected, the exact error text if short), repro (minimal steps), evidence (endpoint, status, request id, tool name, client, version), optionally after a one-line summary of the goal. No quotes of the conversation.
  - `area` string: The endpoint or feature the report concerns, for example tweet/thread or monitor webhooks. Up to 80 characters.
  - `evidence` object: Identifiers only, never payloads: tool, endpoint, status, request_id, client, mcp_version. Must serialize to 4096 bytes or fewer, and must be a JSON object (an array is rejected); either failure is a 400 naming evidence.
  - `client` string: The calling agent or tool and its version, so a fix can be matched to what sent the report. Up to 120 characters.

## Response `201`

File a bug, idea or missing-capability report from the tool you are using, typically drafted by your AI agent and sent after you review it.

- object
  - `id` string: The report's id (a UUID). Pass it to GET feedback/{id} to read its status and the team's response.
  - `status` string: Always "new" on creation. Moves to triaged, shipped or declined as the team works the report.
  - `created_at` string: ISO 8601 timestamp of when the report was stored.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `429`: Rate limited
- `502`: HTTP 502
- `5XX`: Server error
