# List Trait Groups

`GET /v1/ControlPlane/Stores/{storeId}/TraitGroups`

Returns a list of Trait Groups for this Memory Store, with optional traits information.

## Query parameters

- `includeTraits` boolean
- `pageSize` integer
- `pageToken` string
- `orderBy` 'ASC' | 'DESC'

## Response `200`

List of TraitGroups retrieved successfully

- object
  - `traitGroups` TraitGroup[]
    - `displayName` string, required — Provides a unique and addressable name to be assigned to this Trait Group
    - `description` string — description of the Trait Group
    - `traits` object — Map of traits that are part of this Trait Group, where the key is the trait name and the value is the trait's definition.
    - `version` integer, required — The current version number of the Trait Group. Incremented on each successful update.
  - `meta` Meta
    - `key` string — The key of the list property contains the actual data items. This enables programmatic iteration over paginated results.
    - `pageSize` integer — The number of items returned in this page of results.
    - `nextToken` string
    - `previousToken` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `404` — Not Found
- `429` — This error indicates that you have sent too many requests to the API. You should retry according to the `Retry-After` response header.
- `500` — Internal Server Error
- `503` — Service Unavailable
