# Create a new Subscription.

`POST /v1/Subscriptions`

Create a new Subscription.

## Response `201`

Created

- EventsV1Subscription
  - `account_sid` string, nullable — The unique SID identifier of the Account.
  - `sid` string, nullable — A 34 character string that uniquely identifies this Subscription.
  - `date_created` string, date-time, nullable — The date that this Subscription was created, given in ISO 8601 format.
  - `date_updated` string, date-time, nullable — The date that this Subscription was updated, given in ISO 8601 format.
  - `description` string, nullable — A human readable description for the Subscription
  - `sink_sid` string, nullable — The SID of the sink that events selected by this subscription should be sent to. Sink must be active for the subscription to be created.
  - `url` string, uri, nullable — The URL of this resource.
  - `links` object, nullable — Contains a dictionary of URL links to nested resources of this Subscription.
  - `receive_events_from_subaccounts` boolean, nullable — Receive events from all children accounts in the parent account subscription.
