# Get Tweet Thread by ID

`POST /twitter/tweets/thread_by_id`

## Request

Retrieve all tweets in a thread by tweet ID, sorted by latest.

## Request body

- TweetThreadByIdBody
  - `tweet_id` string, required: The root tweet ID to fetch the thread for
  - `max_items` integer: Max number of thread tweets to return
  - `fields` string[], nullable: Optional JSON array of field names. Leave this input blank to omit fields and return all fields. To select fields, enter ["tweet_id","text"] (without wrapping the array in quotes).

## Response `200`

A list of tweets in the thread, sorted by latest.
