# Creates an item

`POST /item`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: API key in header `TWN-InstanceKey` and API key in header `TWN-Authentication`

## Request body

- ApiItemCreate
  - `ArticleNumber` string: The article number. Uniquely identifies an item
  - `Name` string: Item name
  - `Price` number, double: Item price
  - `Brand` string: Item brand
  - `Stock` integer: Item stock
  - `GroupCode` string: Item group code, used in grouped navigation and search
  - `Image` string: Item image url
  - `Url` string: Item url
  - `Categories` integer[]: List of categories this item falls in
  - `Attributes` ApiItemAttributeCreate[]: List of item attributes
    - `Key` string: Attribute key
    - `Values` string[]: List of attribute values
    - `ValuesMultilingual` ApiItemAttributeValue[], nullable: List of multilingual attribute values
      - `Value` string: The attribute value
      - `LanguageId` integer, nullable: Identifier of the language this value belongs to (if multilingual)
  - `Status` 'Active' | 'Inactive'
