# Create a cross-device verification session

`POST /api/v1/verify/session`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tuteliq.ai`
- URL: `https://api.tuteliq.ai/api/v1/verify/session`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Creates a session that can be used to complete verification on another device (e.g. mobile). Both `mode=age` and `mode=identity` require Assure or above. Returns a session ID and mobile URL with a one-time token.

## Request body

  - `document_type` 'drivers_license' | 'national_id' | 'passport'
