# Rectify account data (GDPR Article 16)

`PATCH /api/v1/account/data`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tuteliq.ai`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Correct inaccurate personal data stored in your account. Specify the collection, document ID, and fields to update. Changes are audit-logged with the original and new values for compliance.

  - `collection` string, required: Data collection containing the record
  - `document_id` string, required: ID of the document to rectify
  - `fields` object, required: Fields to update with corrected values
