# Get thumbnail of livestream

`GET /streams/thumbs/live/{streamID}`

Returns thumbnail path for a currently live stream, given a streamID if stream's course is public OR stream's course has visibility "loggedIn" and user is logged in / valid jwt is present OR stream's course has visibility "enrolled" and user is enrolled in stream's course.

## Path parameters

- `streamID` string, uint64, required

A successful response.

- `400` — **[3 INVALID_ARGUMENT]** *Bad request.* **Returned in case of:** - Missing streamID field in request message.
- `401` — **[16 UNAUTHENTICATED]** *Could not authorize the operation.* **Returned in case of:** - Crypto/rsa: verification error (invalid jwt) - JWT cookie not found
- `403` — **[7 PERMISSION_DENIED]** *Access denied.* **Returned in case of:** - User is not logged in (jwt not set) and tries to access stream with course visibility "loggedIn" or "enrolled" - User is logged in, but tries to access stream with course visibility "enrolled" without being enrolled in the course - User tries to access stream with course visibility "private"
- `404` — **[5 NOT_FOUND]** *Could not find entity.* **Returned in case of:** - Non-existing stream
