# One event, and what has been recorded of it

`GET /v1/streams/{streamId}`

- `streamId` string, required

## Response `200`

The event, its recorded pieces, and a link that plays them.

    - `recorded_seconds` number: How far the recording has got. The duration of an event, and it grows while the event runs.
    - `recording` boolean

    - `source` string, nullable
    - `question` string, nullable
    - `pieces_recorded` integer
    - `readings_done` integer
    - `triggers_fired` integer
    - `disconnects` integer: How many times the source went away and came back.
    - `last_error` string, nullable
    - `created_at` string, date-time
    - `started_at` string, date-time, nullable
    - `ended_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `pieces` object[]: What is recorded, in order.
    - `seq` integer
    - `start` number
    - `end` number
    - `bytes` integer
    - `wall_at` string, date-time
    - `read_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `playback` object: A signed HLS playlist of everything recorded. A standard player seeks any recorded second.
    - `url` string
    - `expires_at` string, date-time

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed or expired credential.
- `404`: No such event, or it belongs to another organization.
