# Stop recording, and stop spending

`DELETE /v1/streams/{streamId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tryplayhead.com`
- URL: `https://api.tryplayhead.com/v1/streams/{streamId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Everything recorded stays readable. The event becomes a finished, indexed video and `POST /v1/watch_video` still answers about it. This ends the spending; it deletes nothing.

The event, stopped.

    - `recorded_seconds` number: How far the recording has got. The duration of an event, and it grows while the event runs.

    - `pieces_recorded` integer
    - `readings_done` integer
    - `triggers_fired` integer
    - `disconnects` integer: How many times the source went away and came back.
    - `last_error` string, nullable
    - `created_at` string, date-time
    - `started_at` string, date-time, nullable
    - `ended_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `stopped` boolean

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed or expired credential.
- `404`: No such event, or it belongs to another organization.
