# Start application

`POST /v1/start_application`

## Request

- Auth: OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://api.trylitos.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://api.trylitos.com/oauth/token`, scopes: `applications:write`)

Start an application to a board job: creates the tracker row and tailors the student's resume to the posting (spends one application from the plan; the same job is never charged twice). Returns application_id and packet_id. Follow with get_application to see the questions the employer asks, then send_application.
