# Get setup state

`POST /v1/get_setup_state`

Where the account is in first-time setup: whether a resume is uploaded, a main resume is built, job preferences are saved, sponsorship is answered, and which automation permissions (automatic sending, verification, CAPTCHA, account creation) are on. Use it to decide what to set up before searching or applying.
