# Update organization

`PATCH /v1/organization`

Partially updates the authenticated organization. Only provided fields will be updated.

## Request body

  - `name` string — Organization name
  - `slug` string — Organization slug
  - `logo` string — Organization logo URL
  - `metadata` string — Additional metadata in JSON format
  - `website` string — Organization website URL
  - `onboardingCompleted` boolean — Whether onboarding is completed
  - `hasAccess` boolean — Whether organization has access to the platform
  - `fleetDmLabelId` integer — FleetDM label ID for device management
  - `isFleetSetupCompleted` boolean — Whether FleetDM setup is completed
  - `primaryColor` string — Organization primary color in hex format
  - `advancedModeEnabled` boolean — Whether advanced mode is enabled for the organization
  - `backgroundCheckStepEnabled` boolean — Whether the background-check step is required during member onboarding. Set to false to turn off the "Require background checks" setting; true to require it.
