# Delete a zone

`DELETE /shop/zones/{zoneId}`

Removes a `Zone`. Resources that referenced the zone retain the
(now-invalid) ID until their next update — the booking engine
treats missing zones as unrestricted. Requires the
`SETTINGS_MANAGE` permission on the zone's site.

## Response `204`

Zone deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `401` — The user is unauthenticated
- `403` — The authenticated user does not have permission.
- `404` — The resource couldn't be found
