# Update locale strings for a Coupon

`PUT /shop/coupons/{couponId}/locale-strings/{locale}`

Sets the localised `name` and/or `description` for the given locale. Pass `null` to clear a translation and fall back to the default value.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, nullable — The localised name for this coupon in the given locale.
  - `description` string, nullable — The localised description for this coupon in the given locale.

## Response `200`

The locale strings for the coupon were successfully updated.

    - `name` string, nullable, required — The localised name for this coupon in the given locale.
    - `description` string, nullable, required — The localised description for this coupon in the given locale.

## Other responses

- `401` — The user is unauthenticated
- `403` — The authenticated user does not have permission.
- `404` — The resource couldn't be found
- `422` — The request didn't pass validation
