# Archive a Membership

`DELETE /customers/memberships/{membershipId}`

Archives a `Membership`. Archived memberships are removed from the active list but
their record is retained for reporting purposes.

## Response `204`

The membership was successfully archived.

## Other responses

- `400` — The request failed.
- `401` — The user is unauthenticated
- `403` — The authenticated user does not have permission.
- `404` — The resource couldn't be found
