# Archive a MembershipRate

`DELETE /customers/membership-rates/{rateId}`

Archives a `MembershipRate`. Archived rates cannot be used for new memberships but
existing memberships continue to bill at the rate.

## Response `204`

The membership rate was successfully archived.

## Other responses

- `401` — The user is unauthenticated
- `403` — The authenticated user does not have permission.
- `404` — The resource couldn't be found
