# Delete a trip and everything on it

`DELETE /api/trips/{id}`

## Request

Segments, stays, activities, expenses, photos, documents, plans and shares all go. Members of the owning account only.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The trip id.

## Response `200`

Deleted.

- Deleted
  - `deleted` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: No usable credential: a Clerk session token, a device token or an OAuth access token is required.
- `404`: No such thing, or not one the caller can see.
