# Confirm cancellations: delete the flagged items

`POST /api/trips/{id}/cancellations/confirm`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://trvlrr.app`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Items a forwarded email said were cancelled sit with cancellation_state = "pending" until someone confirms. This deletes the given ones (an inferred drive leaves a dismissal so it is not recreated).

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The trip id.

## Request body

- CancellationIds
  - `item_ids` string[], required: Segment, stay or experience ids flagged as possibly cancelled.

## Response `200`

How many were deleted.

- DeletedCount
  - `deleted` integer, required

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is malformed or fails validation.
- `401`: No usable credential: a Clerk session token, a device token or an OAuth access token is required.
- `403`: The caller may not do this to this account or trip.
- `404`: No such thing, or not one the caller can see.
