# A photo's bytes

`GET /api/photos/{id}/file`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://trvlrr.app`
- URL: `https://trvlrr.app/api/photos/{id}/file`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The original, or with ?size=thumb the small JPEG rendition (the original when no thumbnail exists). Immutable; cache it.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The id.

## Query parameters

- `size` 'thumb': thumb for the small rendition.

## Response `200`

The image.

## Other responses

- `401`: No usable credential: a Clerk session token, a device token or an OAuth access token is required.
- `404`: No such thing, or not one the caller can see.
