# Ask for a place's poster to be generated

`POST /api/art/generate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://trvlrr.app`
- URL: `https://trvlrr.app/api/art/generate`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Queued in the background; generation also fires when a trip is created. Never replaces an existing poster. Twenty requests a day per account.

## Request body

- ArtGenerate
  - `place` string, required: "Name, Country" of a destination.
  - `hint` string: A hint for the artwork.

## Response `200`

Queued.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is malformed or fails validation.
- `401`: No usable credential: a Clerk session token, a device token or an OAuth access token is required.
- `403`: The caller may not do this to this account or trip.
- `429`: A daily limit was reached.
