# Delete a sandbox document

`DELETE /v1/sandbox/documents/{document_id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://prod.truv.com`
- URL: `https://prod.truv.com/v1/sandbox/documents/{document_id}/`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Access-Client-Id` and API key in header `X-Access-Secret`

Deletes a library entry. Refused while any scenario still references it, whether through a payload `document_id` or a document-upload scenario selecting on the filename.

## Response `204`

Document deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: HTTP 401 Unauthorized
- `403`: The key is not a sandbox key.
- `404`: HTTP 404 Not Found
- `409`: A scenario still references this entry.
