# Get EID verification result

`GET /transactions/{transactionId}/eid/result`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://verification.trulioo.com`
- URL: `https://verification.trulioo.com/transactions/{transactionId}/eid/result`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the full electronic identity verification result, including the EID outcome, Level of Assurance, and verified identity fields.

Call `GET /transactions/{transactionId}/eid` to poll the EID session first. This endpoint returns `202 Accepted` while the session is still processing and `200 OK` when the result is available.

## Path parameters

- `transactionId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

The full EID verification result is available.

- EidResult: Terminal electronic identity verification result. Use `status` to determine the session state, `outcome` for the EID verification outcome, and `person` when it is returned for the requesting organization.
  - `transactionId` string, uuid, required: Transaction identifier.
  - `status` 'COMPLETED' | 'TIMED_OUT' | 'DENIED', required: Terminal EID session status. `COMPLETED` means a result was produced; `TIMED_OUT` means the session did not finish in time; `DENIED` means the user denied or stopped the session.
  - `outcome` 'SUCCESS' | 'FAILED' | 'TIMEOUT' | 'ERROR' | 'USER_DENIED' | 'UNSPECIFIED', nullable: Verification outcome. `SUCCESS` means the identity verification succeeded; `FAILED`, `TIMEOUT`, `ERROR`, and `USER_DENIED` identify non-success outcomes. `UNSPECIFIED` means no classified outcome was supplied. Null means no outcome is available.
  - `levelOfAssurance` 'LOW' | 'SUBSTANTIAL' | 'HIGH' | 'VERY_HIGH' | 'UNKNOWN', nullable: Trulioo assurance level achieved by the identity verification. `SUBSTANTIAL` and `HIGH` correspond to eIDAS assurance levels; `LOW`, `VERY_HIGH`, and `UNKNOWN` are Trulioo assurance values. Null means no assurance level is available.
  - `person` Person: Verified identity fields. Values are null when unavailable or redacted for the requesting organization. Treat these values as sensitive personal information.
    - `givenName` string, nullable: Given or first name.
    - `familyName` string, nullable: Family or last name.
    - `middleName` string, nullable: Middle name, when returned.
    - `fullName` string, nullable: Full name as returned by the identity verification, when available.
    - `dateOfBirth` string, date, nullable: Date of birth in ISO 8601 `YYYY-MM-DD` format, when available.
    - `gender` string, nullable: Gender, when available. Values are source-dependent and must be treated as display data rather than a stable enum.
    - `nationality` string, nullable: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 nationality code.
    - `nationalId` string, nullable: Country-specific national identification number, when returned.
    - `placeOfBirth` string, nullable: Place of birth, when available.
    - `address` Address: Verified postal address. Each field is null when unavailable or redacted.
      - `streetAddress` string, nullable: Street address, including civic number and street name.
      - `postalCode` string, nullable: Postal or ZIP code.
      - `city` string, nullable: City or locality.
      - `stateOrProvince` string, nullable: State, province, region, or equivalent administrative area.
      - `country` string, nullable: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code.
    - `email` string, email, nullable: Email address, when available.
    - `phoneNumber` string, nullable: Phone number in E.164 format, when available.
    - `documentNumber` string, nullable: Identity-document number, when available.
    - `documentType` string, nullable: Identity-document type, when available. Values are source-dependent.
    - `documentExpiry` string, date, nullable: Identity-document expiry date in ISO 8601 `YYYY-MM-DD` format, when available.
    - `documentIssuingCountry` string, nullable: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code.
    - `documentIssuingAuthority` string, nullable: Identity-document issuing authority, when available.

## Other responses

- `202`: The EID session is still processing. No verification outcome or identity fields are available yet. Wait for the number of seconds in `Retry-After`, then poll `GET /transactions/{transactionId}/eid` again.
- `400`: The transaction identifier is not a valid UUID.
- `401`: The bearer token is missing, invalid, or expired.
