# Get scoring metric definitions and weights

`GET /api/metrics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://truevaluerankings.com`
- URL: `https://truevaluerankings.com/api/metrics`
- Auth: none required

Returns the 8 fundamental metrics used by TVR, including each metric's name, description, current default weight, and the 4 built-in weight presets (Default, Hard Money, Privacy-Focused, Institutional). Weights determine how much each metric contributes to the overall TVR Score.
