# Connection Webhooks

`POST connection_management` (webhook)

Sent to the webhook URI that you registered when:
- a connection is authorised.
- a connection fails.

    - `type` 'connection_authorized', required
    - `event_version` 1, required: The version of the event schema.
    - `event_id` string, required: Unique ID of the event.
    - `connection_id` string, required: Unique ID for the connection
    - `metadata` Metadata: Optional field for adding custom key-value data to a resource. This object can contain a maximum of 10 key-value pairs, each with a key with a maximum length of 40 characters and a non-null value with a maximum length of 500 characters.
    - `authorized_at` string, datetime, required: The date and time the connection was authorized.
  - ConnectionFailed
    - `type` 'connection_failed', required
    - `event_version` 1, required: The version of the event schema.
    - `event_id` string, required: Unique ID of the event.
    - `connection_id` string, required: Unique ID for the connection
    - `metadata` Metadata: Optional field for adding custom key-value data to a resource. This object can contain a maximum of 10 key-value pairs, each with a key with a maximum length of 40 characters and a non-null value with a maximum length of 500 characters.
    - `failed_at` string, datetime, required: The date and time the connection failed.
    - `failure_stage` 'authorization_required' | 'authorizing', required: The status the connection was in when it failed.
    - `failure_reason` string, required: The reason that the connection failed.
