# List checks

`GET /api/v1/checks`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.trueight.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.trueight.com/api/v1/checks`

List the authenticated user's checks, newest first.

Returns check metadata (ID, status, input type, claim count, timestamps)
with a preview of the first claim. Use `GET /checks/{id}` for full
claim and evidence data.

Paginated list of checks, newest first

- CheckListResponse: Paginated list of the user's checks.
  - `checks` CheckListItem[], required: Check summaries, newest first
    - `id` string, required: Check ID (UUID)
    - `inputType` 'url' | 'text' | 'image' | 'video', required: Supported input types for evidence research.
    - `inputUrl` string, nullable: Source URL
    - `status` 'processing' | 'waiting_for_selection' | 'completed' | 'failed', required: Pipeline status values.
    - `creditsUsed` integer, required: Credits consumed
    - `processingTimeMs` integer, nullable: Processing time in milliseconds
    - `createdAt` string, required: Creation timestamp (ISO 8601)
    - `completedAt` string, nullable: Completion timestamp (ISO 8601)
    - `claimsCount` integer, required: Total number of claims extracted
    - `claims` ClaimSummary[], required: First claim summary for preview
      - `id` string, required: Claim database ID
      - `text` string, required: Original claim text
      - `position` integer, required: Claim position (0-indexed)
      - `claimType` 'empirical' | 'definitional' | 'causal_interpretive' | 'predictive' | 'normative_flagged': Claim type classification.
      - `elementCount` integer, required: Number of elements decomposed from this claim
      - `orientation` string, nullable: Evidence orientation summary line
    - `entryMode` string, nullable: article or direct
    - `selectedClaimsCount` integer, nullable: Claims selected for analysis
    - `articleDomain` string, nullable: Primary domain classification
  - `total` integer, required: Total number of checks returned
